Trust Finance Administrator


Required for January – 10 hours per week

(over 2 days but with some flexibility for the right candidate)

Term time + 1 week

Grade 6 (£20092 to £22183 FTE)

Soke Education Trust was formed in January 2018 and consists of 5 Primary Schools. It is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  The Trust will require the successful candidate to provide satisfactory references and undertake an Enhanced Check with the Disclosure and Barring Service and other appropriate checks.

This is a brand new role, created as we now expand our centralized services supporting our individual schools.

We are looking for someone to support the Trust Finance Manager with all areas of finance from raising orders to assisting with the preparation of data for the monthly management accounts.  Good financial acumen is required, preferably with experience within the education sector.


The successful candidate will be part of the Trust’s central services team, working closely with the Trust Finance Manager but also with other members of the central team - CEO, CFO, HR Officer -  SBM’s, admin staff and Headteachers in each of our schools as well as suppliers and other stakeholders. 

We are looking for an organized and flexible individual who has experience of working in a busy environment where priorities can change at short notice.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to specialise in supporting schools financial management with an eye for details who can work with us and is prepared to build and develop this exciting new role.
