Ukraine Christmas Appeal

Could you make up a Christmas shoe box for a child in Ukraine?

This year we are supporting a local charity, Helping Our Ukrainian Friends, who provide resources for families in Ukraine.  

They are collecting shoe boxes made of toys, and essential items to share with children this Christmas.  If you can help by making up a shoe box there are some suggested items to include:

A child under 5

      Soft toy

      Card Games (e.g. Snap, Uno, Go Fish, etc.)

      Hat / Scarf / Gloves / Warm Socks

      Sweets (age appropriate and preferably not chocolate as we don't know how and where they will be stored)

      Biscuits - shortbread is good as it is very transportable

      Torch

Not for children under 3

      Notepad / Colouring Book

      Pencils / Crayons  

      Sharpener / Rubber

      Balloons 

A child over 5 years

Power Pack (very young children have phones in Ukraine for safety)

Please label each box with the appropriate age & gender and return the box to your school by Friday 8th November 2024.
